I used to be overweight, exhausted, and depressed. Food was my comfort — until I realized it was also my prison. I started making small, lasting changes — making lifestyle changes to get healthy and happy— and my entire life changed. I lost 40 pounds. My energy came back. My mood lifted. And at 61, I’m completely disease-free and medicine-free. Now I’m sharing the exact process that worked for me — so you can experience the same freedom, without restriction or deprivation. Getting healthy is so much more than eating well and staying active—though those are definitely important pieces of the puzzle. True wellness means nurturing every area of your life: your mindset, your stress levels, your relationships, your spiritual or faith practices, and even the products you bring into your home as well as sleep. From the air you breathe and the water you drink, to the ingredients you cook with and the products you put on your skin, every choice plays a part in your overall well-being. It also includes understanding your bloodwork so you can optimize your health from the inside out. Health is holistic, and in this blog, I’ll be sharing the tools, habits, and discoveries that have made the biggest difference in my own journey—so you can feel empowered in yours too.
